We’re looking for an experienced Data Scientist to help build an advanced AI engine that will revolutionize the Insurance industry.
Responsibilities
- Work on data science projects such as segmentation, recommendation, and prediction
- Assess data availability and data quality
- Formulate insurance business use cases in machine learning terms
- Define tests and experiments that aim to assess the relevancy and feasibility of machine learning solutions to business use cases
- Apply state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to insurance data such as model selection, training, testing and validation
Experience & Qualifications
- Sc Mathematics/ Economics/ Computer Science / Statistics or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience as a data scientist
- Highly proficient in R/Python and relevant libraries
- Knowledge in a variety of machine learning techniques (exploratory data analysis, predictive modeling, supervised/unsupervised machine learning, anomaly detection) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks – a must
- Proficiency in using query languages, such as SQL, Spark DataFrame API, etc. – an advantage
- Experience with Deep Learning, particularly when applied to insurance data – an advantage
Background in insurance – an advantage. - Excellent communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
- Self-motivated and team player that has the drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques

Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing functional and/or technical capabilities within large scale products, making ongoing design decisions, and focusing on multiple product domains and technologies
- Taking full ownership of various features and product areas
- Working according to high execution standards, while adhering to project goals and ensuring high quality
- Providing in-depth technical knowledge and guidance to other team members, according to identified needs
Required Skills and Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or graduate of leading technological units
- At least 5 years of experience
- Strong background in full-stack development in leading object-oriented technology such as C#/Java/Python/NodeJS and related technologies
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular/Vue/Ember)
- Experience with development in micro-services
- Experience developing in modern Agile methodologies (Scrum, CI/CD, TDD, BDD)
- Experience with AWS
- Excellent English communication capabilities
